SEAQUAL® The Seaqual® Initiative collects marine litter and transforms PET bottles into 100% recycled PET yarn, produced in Spain. The Seaqual® Yarn contains around 11% ocean waste. Their yarns are used in the SeaTowel en AquaSocks. REPREVE® Repreve® is a leading fiber producer. Their fibers are made from recycled materials including plastic bottles which are mainly collected near beaches around the world. Their yarns are used in the BottleTowel, BottleBlanket Fleece, BottleBlanket Picknick and the Motivate microfiber sports towel. RECOVER Recover transforms post-industrial and post-consumer textile waste into valuable and high-quality recycled cotton fibers. Their yarns are used in the SeaTowel, SeaTowel Kitchen and GoodTowel. OEKOTEX STANDARD 100 OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is a label for textiles tested for harmful substances. It sets the benchmark for textile safety, from yarn to finished product. Every item bearing the STANDARD 100 label is certified as having passed safety tests for the presence of harmful substances. PLASTICSOUP We donate 5% of the profit to the Plastic Soup Foundation (PSF). The PSF wants to reduce the amount of microplastics in the sea.

10 SEAQUAL® INITIATIVE Plastic is destroying marine life like never before. The SEAQUAL® INITIATIVE cleans oceans and rivers from plastic. The waste is delivered to processing plants where PET bottles are selected. They are cleaned and shredded to obtain small PET chips. MAKING SEAQUAL® YARN The recycled PET resins are used to make high quality Seaqual® Yarn. This yarn is always white. We combine it with recycled cotton to make our SeaTowel and AquaSocks. REHEAT PET Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) has the ability to be reheated and reused easily. The PET chips are reheated and filtered to remove contamination. The result is chopped in smaller similar resins which is a new recycled raw material.

DURABLE RECYCLED YARNS The mixed fabrics are shredded into pieces multiple times in different machines to obtain small cotton fibers. These recycled fibers are our raw materials for our new production. For example, the GoodTowel and GoodSocks are produced using these yarns. 150 150 REHEAT PET Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) has the ability to be reheated and reused easily. The PET chips are reheated and filtered to remove contamination. The result is chopped in smaller similar resins which is a new recycled raw material. I USED TO BE A CAR The first step in aluminium recycling is the collection and careful sorting of aluminium scrap from various sources. Proper sorting is essential for high-quality recycled aluminium. Post-consumer scrap comes primarily from end-of-life consumer products and vehicles. Aluminium cans are a major source. CASTING INTO DISCS The molten recycled aluminium is cast into solid discs. These round discs are used directly to produce an aluminium bottle. An extrusion machine presses the discs into a long cylindrical shape. PRE-TREATMENT AND MELTING Shredding and crushing reduce the particle size of the scrap and liberate it from other materials, while granulating produces fine particles ideal for melting. Thermal decoating removes coatings such as paint and plastic. Once pre-treated, the aluminium scrap undergoes melting and liquid metal treatment to produce refined aluminium alloy suitable for casting.
